Want to hang with the coolest cats in town? Reserve your date in the Kitty Lounge!

Starting November 18th until December 14th we will be operating in accordance with the new COVID restrictions announced by Governor Inslee. The new structure only allows same-household kitty visits, with a maximum of 5 visitors at a time. When you reserve the room for “1 spot” you may visit alone or with a total of 5 members of your household. You will not be sharing the space with any other guests. Enjoy 40% off all house made beverages immediately following your kitty date!

Mandatory COVID restrictions have impacted our small-business in such a negative way. We have restructured kitty-dates during this time in an attempt to keep our doors open. The “kitty date” fee goes directly toward cat supplies and staffing and ensures the kitties have a comfortable and nourishing stay with us.

Per Governor Insless’s order and the SRHD, we must require all Kitty Lounge guests to wear their masks at all times while visiting the cats. We are not permitted to make exceptions for medical exemptions and children of ALL AGES must wear masks as well. This is non-negotiable. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Kitty Lounge capacity is limited to 5 guests at a time from the same household. When you reserve your “1 spot”, you are reserving the entire room. You may choose to visit the cats alone or with up to 5 people total from the same household. Visits are 25 minutes but you may reserve back to back spots if you want a longer kitty date. Please read all rules and policies before confirming a visit. This is especially important when it comes to rules for children. Currently masks are required for everyone who visits the cats. We are unable to make exceptions on this.

Everyone must read our liability waiver before making a reservation. By completing a reservation form you certify that you and everyone in your party have read the liability waiver, understand its contents and agree to its release.

Children 13 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of 2 children per adult. Parents must closely monitor their children. Cats can be unpredictable so babies must be held the entire time. Children who are unable to follow the rules will be asked to leave with no warnings.

A confirmation email will be sent after payment completion. We are currently unable to issue refunds or offer reschedules, so please plan ahead before scheduling a visit.

If you have vouchers for the Kitty Lounge (Kickstarter, Raffles) you will be refunded when you show up for your visit. If you have a gift card we can charge it the day of your visit and refund your original entry fee. Please email us if you are confused about this process and we would  be happy to assist you.

During COVID we must require face masks to be worn in the Kitty Lounge at all times. This temporary measure means no more food or drink are allowed in the room. Immediately after your kitty visit you get 40% off any house-made beverage, but they must be taken to-go or ordered through the drive-thru until December 14th.

Please check in at the bar when you arrive. A cat-caretaker will call you in to the Kitty Lounge when your kitty date starts. You must read the rules below. If you are confident that your children can remain calm and follow the rules, we would love to have them visit. If not, we kindly ask that you do not bring them.

Kitty Lounge Rules

  • Wash hands or apply hand sanitizer before entry.
  • Disturbing a sleeping kitty is rude. Don’t be rude.
  • Food and drinks are allowed but don’t give in to any kitty begging.
  • Everyone may pet the kitties but only adults may pick them up.
  • We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if we believe the well-being of the cats is being disturbed.

Children in the Kitty Lounge

This is not a “petting-zoo.” This is a means of socializing shelter cats and finding them homes. Our top priority is the safety and comfort of our cats. For this reason, there are strict rules regarding children in the Kitty Lounge. Please closely monitor your kiddos. Children who are not respecting these rules will be asked to leave.

  • Children must move slowly. No running, jumping or climbing.
  • Children may NOT pick up the kitties. Respectful playing is OK.
  • Do not stand on the benches or move the pillows around.
  • Respect the space of other guess.
  • Do not allow your children to throw toys or pick up random items.
  • Voices need to be kept down so the cats don’t get frightened.
