THE KITTY LOUNGE

Want to hang with the coolest cats in town? Reserve your date in the Kitty Lounge!

*Please read the steps, rules, and processes thoroughly before making a reservation*

*Kitty Date availability fluctuates depending on the on the amount of cats our partner shelter sends us. If there are no openings then most of the kitties staying with us have been adopted. However, more Kitty Dates will become available when more cats come… and they always do.

STEP 1:

PLAN AHEAD

Visits are 50-minutes and start at the top of the hour.

Children age 3 an under are not allowed in the Kitty Lounge for safety reasons. Children 4-13  are welcome to visit during Group Kitty Dates but MUST be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of 2 children per adult. Parents must closely monitor their kiddos. Children who are unable to follow the rules will be asked to leave. *Please Note* – Snuggle Session options are for adults only (18+) and are not for adoptions. Adoptions can only occur during Group Kitty Dates.

STEP 2:

LIABILITY WAIVER

Everyone must read our liability waiver before making a reservation. You do not need to bring a waiver for your visit.

By completing a reservation form you certify that you and everyone in your party have read the liability waiver, understand its contents and agree to its release.

STEP 3:

Confirmation

A confirmation email will be sent after completing a reservation. Reschedules can be made at any time up to 24 hours before your visit from your original confirmation email. We are unable to offer refunds for cancelations and no-shows.

STEP 4:

COME PREPARED

Please arrive 10 minutes early and check in at the bar. A cat-caretaker will call you in to the Kitty Lounge when your Kitty Date starts.

Please remind your kiddos about the rules before entry. If you are confident that your children can remain calm, we would love to have them visit. If not, we kindly ask that you do not bring them into the Kitty Lounge.

Kitty Lounge Rules

  • Wash hands or apply hand sanitizer before entry.
  • Disturbing a sleeping kitty is rude. Don’t be rude.
  • Everyone may pet the kitties but only adults may pick them up.
  • We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if we believe the well-being of the cats is being disturbed.

Children in the Kitty Lounge

This is not a “petting-zoo.” This is a means of socializing shelter cats and finding them homes. Our top priority is the safety and comfort of our cats. For this reason, there are strict rules regarding children in the Kitty Lounge. Please closely monitor your kiddos. Children who are not respecting these rules will be asked to leave.

  • Children must move slowly. No running, jumping or climbing.
  • Children may NOT pick up the kitties. Respectful playing is OK.
  • Do not stand on the benches or move the pillows around.
  • Do not allow your children to throw toys or pick up random items.
  • Voices need to be kept down so the cats don’t get frightened.
